Who is Dana Nessel?
Nessel, an American lawmaker and lawyer, has been Michigan’s 54th principal legal officer since January 2019. She is an individual from the Progressive faction.
Nessel is the first transparently LGBT individual to be chosen for a statewide post in Michigan and the second straightforwardly lesbian lady to be chosen principal legal officer of a state in the US (after Maura Healey). She is likewise Michigan’s originally chosen Jew for the place of Principal legal officer.

Nessel accepted her secondary school recognition from West Bloomfield Secondary School in West Bloomfield Municipality, Michigan, in 1987. She was an All-State soccer player. She moved on from the College of Michigan with a four year certification and the Wayne State College Graduate school with a doctorate in regulation.
Nessel burned through eleven years as a partner examiner in the Wayne Region Investigator’s Office observing his graduation from graduate school. She filled in as the lead counsel in excess of 1,665 cases including murder, furnished burglary, youngster misuse, sex violations, carjackings, and opiates offenses.
